On a day much like any other, one rider gracefully gets out of the way for another coming through on a faster lap.

On this particular day though it was W T Lindsay doing the honourable thing as Hailwood, M, made haste during the 1959 250 TT.

Bet a lesson or two was learned during these fleeting moments – from how to get to the apex to when to apply the power.

Every day is a school day, after all.
